Ambitious investment plan unveilled designed to increase turnover to £100 million.
The announcement of the investment strategy has been made following the Keystone Group’s recent inclusion in this year’s Parliamentary Review. After more than doubling its workforce over the last three years, The Keystone Group was singled out for praise by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Rt Hon Philip Hammond MP. Building on this achievement, the company is preparing for more rapid growth through innovation, with ambitious expansion plans for 2017.
The company has announced that over the next 12 months, one of its premier brands Keylite Roof Windows will continue to strengthen and develop their route to market in Germany, will launch into the French marketplace and plans are also underway for a new manufacturing facility.
The Keystone Group consists of six divisions; Keystone Lintels, IG Lintels, Keylite Roof Windows, IG Elements, IG Masonry Support Systems and Smartroof. The company has also recently entered into a strategic partnership with roof truss manufacturer, Wyckham Blackwell.
The Group was one of only six construction and engineering companies to be highlighted in the Parliamentary Review. The Review provides a comprehensive summary of the past year and a reliable template for next 12 months to come with commentary from industry leading companies, Secretaries of State, Ministers and MPs.
Sean Coyle, Chairman of The Keystone Group commented: “Since we set the company up in 1989, making one product with a handful of staff, it’s been an incredible experience to see it grow to the level we have reached today. Despite the current economic climate, we believe the opportunities to compete in Europe are considerable and the opportunity to gain market share in the UK offers the prospect of extremely significant sales growth.”
Recent product launches include the advanced Smartroof, an insulated room in roof panel system and the patented Hi-therm lintel range that helps builders to meet current and future building regulations.
The Keystone Group is headquartered in Swadlincote, South Derbyshire with further manufacturing plants in Cookstown (N.Ireland), Cwmbran, Overseal and Poland.
