Hayfield has scooped ‘Best Family Home up to £750,000’ at the Evening Standard New Homes Awards 2019.
Solihull-headquartered Hayfield has won another major national award only three years since its inception. The firm scooped Best Family Home Under £750,000 at the Evening Standard New Homes Awards 2019, which were held in the Ballroom of the Dorchester Hotel.
The winning home was the Bourton house at Hayfield Views in the picturesque Oxfordshire village of Great Bourton. The company’s Hallow house at Hayfield Meadow in Hallow, Worcestershire also made the shortlist.
Mark Booth, Managing Director of Hayfield said: “Given we have only been in business since 2016, it was a fantastic result to have two of our homes shortlisted for Best Family Home up to £750,000. We must have been up against all the best developments across the UK!
“When the judges came to visit, they seemed genuinely blown away by the build quality, attention to detail and the array of features that we include as standard, such as heritage bronze door furniture, underfloor heating, Roca/Laufen bathroom suites, instant hot taps, warming drawers and curved cabinets in our kitchens.
“Winning the title of Best Family Home under £750,000 is simply incredible! I am so proud of what we have achieved in such a short space of time. Full credit goes to Hayfield’s dedicated team which is passionate about striving for the highest quality standards.”
The Evening Standard judges’ remarks on the winning entry was: “This scenic new development of stone houses is a worthy addition to the ancient village of Great Bourton in the Cherwell Valley. Our value-for-money winner, The Bourton, has five bedrooms, a double garage and costs £575,000.”
In addition to the Evening Standard Award, Hayfield was recognised at the 2018 WhatHouse? Awards as one of the UK’s Best Small Housebuilders. In the same year, the company scooped NHBC Pride in the Job Awards for Hayfield Chase in Tiddington, Stratford-upon-Avon and Hayfield Views in Great Bourton, Oxfordshire.
