Robert Eburne has joined Denbury Homes as Planning Manager as the company continues to embrace its new chapter.
Robert has a wealth of experience working for housebuilders including for Denbury’s former sister company, Hopkins Homes, and for local councils as a planning officer. He’s now joined Denbury Homes (formerly Hopkins & Moore) as the company continues to grow.
Joshua Hopkins, Land Director at Denbury Homes said: “It’s been a whirlwind first year for Denbury Homes. Although we’ve been operating in the region for almost 40 years, our new chapter has brought renewed energy and excitement.
“As we expand, we are delighted to welcome Robert to the team. Many of us have worked with Robert before and so we know his passion, experience and local knowledge will be a huge asset to Denbury.”
As Planning Manager Robert will play a central role in Denbury’s future, helping explore opportunities with landowners and working with Denbury’s land, technical and design teams and with local councils to help develop successful planning applications.
Speaking of the appointment, Robert said: “Joining Denbury Homes feels like the best of both worlds, there are plenty of familiar faces and some familiar developments or planning applications but there is a real buzz about the team which makes it feel like a fresh start.
“The whole team understands how central to our ethos the idea of designing homes that are suitable and appropriate for the region is. Because of this, Denbury has integrated the planning and design teams which results in closer working relationships and ensures we are all involved in the entire process. Helping us to bring forward developments that landowners are proud to have as part of their legacy and that communities are quick to embrace.”
Denbury has recently started work onsite at The Hornbeams in Elmsett and will begin at Barleyfields in Debenham early in the new year. They have also recently submitted a reserved matters application for Abbots Vale, the major new neighbourhood for Bury St Edmunds.
