Ibstock Brick and Forticrete, both part of Ibstock plc, have been highly commended in the Supplier of the Year category at the Davidsons Homes annual awards.
Davidsons Homes, which has its headquarters in Ibstock, Leicestershire, recognised Ibstock Brick and Forticrete for their attention to customer service and responsiveness to their requests.
Kate Royce, Director of Sales – Major Developers, Ibstock Brick, said: “To be recognised by Davidsons Homes at their annual awards demonstrates our focus on putting the customer first. We have worked with Davidsons Homes for many years – being able to form close partnerships with customers is the key to achieving long-term success even in the current economic climate.”
Kieron Hall, National Sales Manager at Forticrete, added: “The whole team has worked extremely hard to maintain our longstanding relationship with Davidsons Homes and they were the perfect partner to launch our new SL8 roof tile with. This award is a testament to our partnership approach and the hard work of the team, and we are delighted that this has been acknowledged, even when we have been faced with challenges.”
The awards, which were celebrating their tenth anniversary, recognise staff, contractors, suppliers and consultants whilst also raising funds for Leicester Glenfield Hospital’s Cardiology department. More than £30,000 was raised on the night, which will be matched by the David Wilson Foundation.
Jason Glover, Operations Director at Davidsons Homes, commented: “Despite a difficult year, Ibstock Brick and Forticrete still supplied the vast majority of our bricks and roof tiles and tried their hardest to accommodate our requirements. They faced up to the problems and didn’t try to hide and were honest at all times; keen to have face to face meetings rather than hiding behind emails.”
