CALA Homes supports good causes via new bursary

CALA Homes is launching a £95K community bursary scheme.

Local causes across the UK will be supported thanks to the launch of a new Community Bursary scheme worth £95,000 from CALA Homes.  The upmarket homebuilder is inviting local charities, community groups and organisations to apply for a share of the bursary to help fund a project which makes a vital difference in and around its local community.

The community bursary is being rolled out in each of the housebuilders eight regions with a combined total of £95,000 which will be used to support as many local worthy causes as possible.

Alan Brown, CALA Homes’ Chief Executive said: “We feel it is extremely important to play an active role in the areas in which we build and the new Community Bursary is the latest step in our ongoing commitment to supporting local initiatives.  We already work closely with our corporate charity, The Prince’s Trust and support a number of organisations through sponsorship and donations; but the Community Bursary is about giving back to the fantastic communities in which we operate and supporting those local causes that sometimes get overlooked.”

The deadline for applications is Friday 9th June. For details of your nearest scheme, and to download an application form, visit www.cala.co.uk/bursary.
