Midlands-based homebuilder, Cameron Homes, has been named as a ‘Best Workplace for Women’ by Great Place to Work.
This prestigious award recognises employers that demonstrate exceptional commitment to creating inclusive and equitable workplaces for all employees, with Cameron Homes being the only company to be listed from the construction industry.
To achieve this accolade, the homebuilder underwent an in-depth assessment process, demonstrating its dedication to gender equality, career advancement opportunities for women, and developing a culture that allows all members of its team to thrive.
The award highlights Cameron Homes’ strong company culture, which has been consistently recognised by the Great Place to Work awards programme over the years. A remarkable 90% of Cameron Homes employees say it is a great place to work, compared to the national average of 54%. Additionally, 99% of employees believe people are treated fairly regardless of their sex.
Carli Gallier, Head of People at Cameron Homes, said: “We are incredibly proud to be recognised as a Best Workplace for Women. Creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all our employees is a core value at Cameron Homes.
“This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team in building a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered to succeed.”
Cameron Homes, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, has recently announced its new Senior Leadership Team, led by Managing Director, Guy Bebbington, as part of its continued strategic growth.
