Housebuilder Rippon Homes is about to commence construction work on its latest development in the popular village of Lea with the first home expected to be ready by summer 2021.
Rose Gardens will consist of 60 three and four-bedroom homes, suitable for couples, growing families, upsizers, downsizers, empty nesters and everyone in between. The mix of detached and semi-detached houses and bungalows are set in the idyllic village of Lea, conveniently situated at the junction of the A156 and B1241, with local amenities a stone’s throw away.
Rated one of the top rural locations to live in Britain by the Sunday Times in 2018, the village itself has plenty to offer, including a close-knit community centered around a traditional village hall, while Lincoln is less than 16 miles away. The cathedral city is rich in history; with independent boutique shopping and a wealth of places to eat and drink, it’s an ideal place for a daytrip.
Gainsborough Lea Road railway station provides regular services to Lincoln, Sheffield, Rotherham, and Doncaster while Lea itself sits on the bus route between Scunthorpe and Lincoln.
Ian Dyke, Managing Director of Rippon Homes said, “Lea is a wonderful village and we are looking forward to contributing to the existing community while making living there more accessible for new families.
“We build homes to be proud of, with many exceeding the National Space Standards, and all of them meeting the needs of today’s families in terms of aesthetics, layout and space optimisation.”
