All 120 homes at Whittle Brook Park at Anwyl Homes’ development at Whittle Brook Park, Heywood, Lancs will be equipped with air source heat pumps and other energy-efficient features such as wider cavities to external walls, solar panels, electric vehicle charging points, and improved air tightness and insulation.
Work is already underway at the 15-acre development in Lancashire, which is part of the wider West Hopwood community that will see around 1,000 new homes built, plus the creation of 1.5 million square feet of employment space, a local centre, new primary school, extensive public open space and sports pitches. The wider scheme will see £402 million invested in the area.
