Lovell unveils £7.7m Lincolnshire homes development

Partnership developer Lovell has revealed plans for a £7.7m development of family homes for open market sale in a village location just outside Sleaford in Lincolnshire.

The scheme will create 36 two-, three- and four-bedroom houses on land off The Crescent and Roxburgh Drive at Greylees. Lovell expects to begin work by Spring 2018 on the new development which will be within three miles of Sleaford. The new homes are the latest to be built through the redevelopment of the grounds of the former Rauceby Hospital.

“We’re looking forward to starting work on these desirable new homes which will significantly extend choice for local homebuyers in this highly convenient location,” said Lovell Regional Managing Director Robert Adams. “We’ll be offering a range of beautifully designed properties, suitable for people at all stages of the housing ladder, from first-time buyers to those looking for a ‘forever’ family home.”

Homes have been designed to complement existing properties and will employ a traditional mix of brickwork, stone, render and slate grey tiles, reflecting the traditional character of homes in nearby Rauceby. The Greylees scheme is the latest in a series of land-led residential developments secured by Lovell’s Eastern regional business over the past six months. They include a 147-home, £30m waterside residential development at Doncaster Lakeside in south Yorkshire; The Coppice, a £12m development of 47 homes at Chapel-en-le-Frith in the Derbyshire Peak District and The Spires, a £13.2m, 73-home scheme at Branston, near Lincoln.
