The final homes available to reserve now at Chestnut Homes’ LN6 development include the three-bedroom De Lacy and three-bedroom De Mandeville house types.
A new housing development in Lincoln has reached the final stages of construction, with just four homes now remaining for sale.
The Lincolnshire housebuilder, which has been building LN6 off Westbrooke Road since 2015, has provided a total of 131 new homes across four phases. Work on the final phase of 24 new homes began in February 2020.
Rob Newton, Construction Director of Chestnut Homes, said: “As things begin to wrap up with LN6, we can look back with pride on the legacy we have built for this corner of Lincoln.
“Demand for homes at LN6 has been consistently strong which I believe is a testament to the quality homes we have built here. The development’s proximity to the city centre, combined with attractive green open space on the doorstep, has drawn many home-hunters to settle here and form a brand-new community.
“The remaining homes – the De Mandeville and De Lacy house types – both boast a lovely open-plan living area for modern family life. They would be ideal for first-time buyers or young families looking to live in Lincoln.
“And buyers even have the opportunity to own our popular three-bedroom showhome, which is fully decorated and has really impressed visitors, who have complimented its striking design and its build quality.”
Chestnut Homes will also be contributing £42,133 to the City of Lincoln Council in Community Infrastructure Levy, as well as £36,440 towards playing fields and children’s play areas in the city.
The payments come on top of contributions the developer has already made in line with planning permission for the first two phases of the development, which include £80,974 towards education and £11,150 towards a travel plan for new residents.
Reflecting on the impact of LN6, Rob said: “As well as providing a brand-new community for Lincoln, Chestnut Homes has taken an active role in supporting the community by providing funds to improve the city’s infrastructure and to charitable causes which have helped further improve our relationship with nearby residents.”
Viewings for the final homes at LN6 are by appointment only.
