Doors open at Hayfield’s first EPC A-rated development in Hallow, Worcestershire

Award-winning housebuilder Hayfield has unveiled a stunning new show home at its first EPC A-rated development in the Worcestershire village of Hallow.

The five-bedroom, three-bathroom detached show home has been styled with a sumptuous décor, bespoke furniture and natural tones and textures, creating a striking and contemporary interior. Designed by award-winning Lifestyle Interiors, each room showcases a distinctive style that harmonises the perfect use of space and design. The principal bedroom features high ceilings and a partition wall with walk-in wardrobes and an en suite, resulting in a luxurious boutique hotel feel.

Hayfield Grove demonstrates how sustainable living need not comprise on luxury with homes at the development achieving the highest EPC rating.  Only 2% of new builds achieve an ‘A’ rating, with a typical existing home averaging an EPC ‘D’ rating.  Hayfield’s commitment to decarbonising its homes has resulted in a zero-carbon ready specification which features solar PV panels, energy efficient underfloor heating, air source heat pump, electric vehicle fast charging points, increased insulation, and much more.

Sarah Sargeant, Sales Manager at Hayfield, said: “We are delighted with our latest show home, and excited for our visitors to see how we have redefined A-rated homes. Hayfield Grove is the first of our EPC A-rated developments and the traditional architectural detailing, combined with the modern energy efficiency measures, is really appealing to prospective homeowners who want the best of both worlds – especially with energy cost savings compared to other new build homes.”

The development at Hayfield Grove includes the creation of 2.5-acres of outstanding new Public Open Space. This joins up with the extensive landscaped open space and fully equipped playground that was created as part of the original Hayfield Meadow scheme, which the multi award-winning housebuilder completed in 2019.

Hayfield is also creating new landscaped walking and cycling routes to connect the scheme into the neighbourhood. New wildflower planting and a biodiverse pond will create significant ecological benefits. The density of the development is much lower than typical new build schemes, with extensive planting incorporated into the masterplan, including orchard tree planting.

House-hunters and members of the public are invited to view the new show home at Hayfield Grove, which is located off Main Road, Hallow. Prices for the current release of two-bedroom bungalows and three, four and five-bedroom homes range from £525,000 to £850,000.
