Construction work on the latest phase of a housing development in Bardney – which has been taking shape in the village for the past 17 years – is nearing completion.
Chestnut Homes is putting the finishing touches to the final properties in phase three at Manor Farm, where all the homes have now been sold.
Since 2004, the Lincolnshire housebuilder has delivered 194 homes on three parcels of land at the development, off St Lawrence Drive.
The third and most recent phase has brought 44 new homes, featuring a mix of two, three and four-bedroom houses, along with green open space and a new play area.
The housebuilder has also provided a funding boost of more than £460,000 for local services through the planning agreement for the development, including £383,395 for education, £72,000 for health services and £10,736 for bus services.
Work on a new phase of homes is set to begin later this year.
