David Wilson Homes Southern is celebrating the success of its Wallingford development The Maltings, as it has now successfully sold out.
Since the Borough Avenue development first launched in 2015 it has delivered more than 94 homes, ensuring 188 jobs have been underpinned in the area. The developer is thrilled with the community that is now thriving at The Maltings, and will look forward to seeing the remaining residents move into their homes shortly.
Oxfordshire homebuyers are being encouraged to consider one of the housebuilder’s other developments in the area if they’ve missed out on their dream property here.
The developer recently also attended the launch of the new Extra Care Facility that they constructed on site, Millcroft.
Millcroft is the first scheme in Oxfordshire from multi-award-winning independent living provider, Season. Independent living apartments are specifically designed for older people who need some care. The residents live in their own homes that they can furnish as they wish and have design features, such as walk in showers, which make life easier. There is also help on hand at all times, if needed.
Neil Douglas, Sales Manager at David Wilson Homes Southern, said: “The Maltings is a family orientated development with a growing community of residents located in a popular and in demand area of Oxfordshire.
“We will be sad to be soon leaving the site as the last home has now sold, but are delighted with the new community that has been created here and look forward to building more homes in the county.”
David Wilson Homes currently has properties available to reserve at the following developments in the county: Swinbrook Park in Carterton and The Paddocks in Southmoor.
