Triton Showers has scooped the Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) Special Recognition in Driving Behaviour Change award, in acknowledgement of its ‘Every Drop Makes a Difference’ campaign.
This latest achievement follows the shower manufacturer’s success in the BMA Sustainability Awards 2021, where it was named winner of the Workplace Initiative category for its efforts to engage employees in its sustainability journey.
David Tutton, Managing Director at Triton, said: “Triton is very much on a sustainability journey. In 2021 we proudly achieved the Carbon Trust Standard, and we went one step further by gaining Carbon Neutral certification this year. We’re therefore overjoyed to have walked away with the Special Recognition in Driving Behaviour Change award in the BMA Sustainability Awards 2022 – showcasing our investment in communicating how a change in showering habits can reduce consumers’ environmental impact.”
Triton’s ‘Every Drop Makes a Difference’ campaign delivered large scale advertising, including national TV and radio. As part of the project, the company launched its online water and energy calculator, which provides personalised tips and suggestions to help consumers improve the sustainability profile of their showering habits, while also helping them to reduce their water and energy bills.
David concluded: “Sustainability is a core component of our business, and our ‘Every Drop Makes a Difference’ campaign has played an instrumental role in encouraging customers to join us on our mission to reduce carbon usage. We’re grateful for the ongoing support of the BMA, and plan to take our sustainable journey to new heights in the near future.”
