Greg Locke, former CEO of David Wilson Homes, and most recently at Linden Homes, has joined the board of Davidsons Homes as a non-executive director.
Davidsons group managing director, James Wilson, said “I’m delighted to welcome Greg to the board. Greg recently retired but was still keen to have some involvement in the industry. His experience, particularly in the south of the country, will be very valuable as we continue to expand. We will grow considerably this year with new developments across the East and West Midlands, Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire, and we are looking for opportunities to take us into new areas”.
Greg said “Davidsons are really starting to make a name for themselves so it’s a great time to be joining the board. I’m looking forward to working with the management team and seeing how the company can grow further, whilst at the same time maintaining the very high standards of design, build, and customer service that they have delivered to date”.
James Wilson continued “Greg will also sit on the board of Go Plant, a sister company to Davidsons, as well as on the group main board which covers all of the Wilson Family interests. Continued growth saw our group turnover pass the £100 million mark in 2015, at £121 million for all group activities, with Davidsons Homes accounting for £90 million and 280 legal completions. The next phase of our development will need the guidance of professionals like Greg to help us through the coming years”.
Davidsons Homes have received the highest rating of five stars, four years in a row, in the National Home Builders Federation customer satisfaction survey. In addition, the company recently won Large Residential development of the year for their Anstey development, in the ProCon Leicestershire Property and Construction awards 2015.
Currently the company has developments in Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and Oxfordshire.
