Under the motto of “Meet the family” Wacker Neuson presents its wide range of innovative Duel View dumpers, including the new DV45 and DV125 models, as well as selected excavators and other innovations at this year’s Hillhead show. At booth W10 visitors were invited to explore the new products and discover how Wacker Neuson is using innovation, efficiency and digitalization to equip them for the future, with a focus on zero emission solutions. “We are very happy to be exhibiting again at the Hillhead show this year. It is an excellent platform to exchange thoughts and information with the professionals in our industry and the best way to show our extended family of Duel View dumpers with our solutions for improving safety and efficiency on the construction site,” says Andy Williams, Managing Director of Wacker Neuson UK.

“Meet the family” of Wacker Neuson dumpers
Wacker Neuson offers its customers a wide range of wheeled dumpers, which set standards in terms of operator and construction site safety, flexibility and cost-effectiveness. The Dual View dumpers from 4.2 to 12.5-ton payload allow the operator to conveniently and quickly change the seat position through a 180-degree rotation of the entire operating console. This always gives the operator a perfect view of the direction of work and travel – during transport, loading and unloading. At the Hillhead show Wacker Neuson displays the Dual View models DV45, DV60, DV90 and DV125.

Dual View dumper DV45
With the new DV45 Dual View dumper, the electro-hydraulically rotatable cabin can be turned by 180 degrees at the press of a button on the joystick. In the so-called Multi-View mode, it is possible to work in a laterally (partially) rotated cabin. This gives the operator an ideal view of the lateral working area, and he can see precisely where he is offloading the material and where the machine is traveling along. The automatic skip return automatically returns the skip at the press of a button to the initial position, while the operator can focus on driving. The installed hill-hold function, intelligent tilt monitoring, and seatbelt monitoring with optional start release provide additional safety.

Dual View dumper DV125 – For fast material handling
At the Hillhead show, the new Dual View dumper DV125 will be presented to the national audience for the first time. The DV125 expands the model series of the Dual View dumpers and is best suited to applications with fast material handling with a payload of up to 12.5 tons. The DV125 is equipped with skip and tilt monitoring, skip guard, hill-hold function, laminated safety glass, and further safety features, many of them included as standard. The compact design and the Dual View operating concept enable unrestricted visibility when driving, maneuvering, and loading and unloading – a great safety advantage, particularly in confined working environments.

EW100: entering a new era of wheeled excavators
Also, on display at the booth: the Wacker Neuson EW100 wheeled excavator. The 10-ton wheeled excavator is unique in its class and sets a benchmark. Intelligent attachment management with tool recognition, a well-thought-out human-machine interface, and preparation for diverse assistance systems and interfaces are just a few examples. Operator friendliness and efficiency were a priority during the development: Due to the powerful drive hydraulics and high basic work performance of the EW100, it can accomplish tasks typically requiring a 14-ton excavator.

Wacker Neuson celebrates 40 years of the mini-excavator: 1984-2024
In 1984, Wacker Neuson developed their first hydraulic mini-excavator and thus created a completely new machine class. Through pioneer spirit and the willpower to develop new technical solutions for efficient construction, Wacker Neuson manufactured the small hydraulic components necessary for the mini-excavator. As a result, the mini-excavator replaced the time-consuming and laborious tasks performed with a bucket and pickaxe. To date, innovations like the telescopic travel gear and the upper carriage tilting Vertical Digging System (VDS) have set benchmarks in the industry.

The current series of Wacker Neuson mini and compact excavators is made up of 20 machines ranging from 800 kilograms to 15 tons in operating weight, including a fully electric mini-excavator EZ17e, and the next-in-size e-model EZ26e, which is expected to be available from the start of 2025.
