Howdens launches new range of internal doors

Trade kitchen supplier Howdens has introduced a range of 1930’s-style internal doors.

The kitchen and joinery company has launched the new doors to complement its existing range of internal and external doors, in response to an increasingly prevalent interior design trend that focusses on introducing timeless, heritage-inspired features into homes.

Available in a four-panel, and a three-panel glazed format, the new doors are supplied primed ready for finishing. They are available in a range of widths, and can be adapted to suit many entranceway sizes, making it possible to use throughout the home to achieve a consistent look.

Nicola Pentland, Senior Category Marketing Manager, said: “1930’s home interiors are characterised by the innovative art deco and modernism movements, which saw the introduction of geometric lines and crisp clear shapes that contrasted heavily with the smooth curved lines of the decades before.

“We’re delighted to be bringing these 1930’s style interior doors to the market, to offer timelessly classic door designs to our customers that are reminiscent of the past, yet are steadfastly relevant to modern interior tastes.

“Whether homeowners want to incorporate our 1930’s style doors for a cohesive, traditional space, or as part of a more modern-heritage, ‘old meets new’ look, these doors add classical charm to any room.”
