Wynbrook Homes starts work on £1.8m development in Beeston

Wynbrook Homes has been granted planning permission and has started to build a new £1.8m residential development in Beeston.

The development, which will be called Newlands House, is due to complete in early 2017. The complex will comprise twenty four 1 & 2 bedroom apartments and be targeted at first time buyers and professionals attracted by the easy commute from Beeston to Nottingham University, QMC and other major employers.

Commenting, Wynbrook’s Construction Director, Steve Day said, “This is our first residential development in over five years and we are thrilled to be starting with this new housing development in Beeston. It is a very attractive location and we are sure that interest will be high.”

Wynbrook was founded in 1986 and recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. The company started out building high quality housing and apartment complexes, but when the recession hit, it decided to place the residential market on the back burner and to focus on building care homes, a strategy that has been very successful. Now that demand and funding for the housing market is back, Wynbrook was keen to return to its roots and get back into residential design and build.

Prices will range from £135,000 – £195,000. It will be marketed by Robert Ellis Estate Agents.
