Vanderbilt and Crayfern become Elivia Homes

Sister companies Vanderbilt Homes and Crayfern Homes have announced the launch of a unified brand as the business sets out its ambition to double in size over the next five years.

Buckinghamshire-headquartered Vanderbilt and Hampshire-based Crayfern have now become Elivia Homes with two operating regions; Central and Southern respectively.

Elivia Homes will continue to be run by the existing senior leadership team, headed up by Group Managing Director Chris Chiles (pictured), Group Operations Director Kamal Grewal and CFO Iain Brown.

Crayfern Homes was acquired by Vanderbilt in 2019. The combined business doubled in size in little over two years and now has a turnover in excess of £100m. Elivia Homes will deliver over 250 homes this financial year across Surrey, West Sussex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

Chris Chiles, Group Managing Director of Elivia Homes, commented: “In the two years since we acquired Crayfern Homes, we have taken a considered approach to integration, benefitting from collaboration, and taking learnings and best practice from both businesses. We have also significantly scaled-up our operations in that time, creating a successful and sustainable company with a robust platform for growth.”

“We’re delighted to now be moving into a new phase of our journey under one brand that will deliver a compelling proposition for our customers and business partners. With the support of our shareholders and our fantastic people, we have a clear path to becoming a £250m turnover business with an enviable reputation as one of the most trusted and admired homebuilders across the South East.

“Our rebrand has been inspired and conceived in collaboration with our colleagues and partners. We are proud to restate and amplify our purpose with a new website, social media channels and fresh look across our developments”
