Moores marks 75 years of manufacturing heritage

Kitchen manufacturer, Moores Furniture Group, will reach a milestone in 2022 by celebrating 75 years of British manufacturing.

Well known within the housebuilding sector, Moores has been supplying kitchens all over the UK since it first established in 1947.

The business is set to mark the occasion through a series of celebratory events that will honor the anniversary with colleagues, customers, business partners and local communities.

To kick start the 75-year campaign, the company will be offering a discount off its kitchens to members of their Moores Club.

Moores Club is a member only scheme for suppliers and partners of Moores, and as a way of saying thank you, members can receive up to 70% off a brand-new kitchen. Customers and suppliers will need to sign up via the https://www.mooresdirect.com/moores-club/ website to claim their individual discount.

CEO of Moores, Steve Parkin commented: “Moores have been on a tremendous journey this past 75 years, but our commitment to our people has always been at our core, from the Moores Family who work here, to every one of our customers, suppliers, and business partners. We want this celebration to be about saying thanks to all those who have supported the Moores journey so far, and we felt the best way to kick-start the campaign is with fantastic discounts for our Moores Club members to enjoy.”

Moores employs over 500 people at its 600,000 sq/ft Wetherby site.

The company supplies kitchens to the housebuilder, public sector, trade, and retail industries. It has a number of industry awards and a collaboration with celebrity Michelin Starred Chef, Michel Roux Jr.
