Garador organised an efficient transport system to reunite hundreds of riders with their cars 50 miles away

Yeovil based Garage Door supplier Garador, provided transport to over 500 cyclists at a charity cycling event in aid of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

Hundreds of fund raising cyclists have been successfully returned to their departure point thanks to the efforts of Somerset garage door manufacturer Garador.

Over 550 cyclists left Watchet in North Somerset to ride 54 miles to the South coast, raising money for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. They then needed to get themselves, and their bikes, back to the north coast to pick up their transport and get home.

Garador appoints new Managing Director

Garador, with its large capacity trucks, was happy to give a hand. It provided trucks and drivers for transportation, using the company’s trailer and pole system so that the bikes could easily be wheeled into the trailers and firmly secured for the journey.

“We were more than happy to assist,” said Garador’s Managing Director Neil Discombe. “The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance plays a vital role in society and it is wonderful that so many cyclists were willing to tackle the challenging route to raise thousands of pounds money for this worthwhile cause.”
