First homes at Bottesford development to go on sale next year

A new development of 60 homes in Bottesford will launch to the public in the new year.

Bellway is building a range of two, three, four and five-bedroom properties at The Vale, off Grantham Road.

Located on an eight-acre site at the eastern edge of the village, the development will include 41 houses for private sale and 19 affordable homes for rent or shared ownership.

The first properties are due to go on sale in the new year, when the sales centre will open to visitors.

Construction work is set to start in November and the first homes are due to be completed in the early summer.

Steve Smith, Sales Manager for Bellway East Midlands, said: “The Vale has been designed to offer a wide range of homes in the popular village of Bottesford. Our two and three-bedroom properties will appeal to first-time buyers and downsizers while the larger four and five-bedroom detached houses will be ideal for families, as well as offering plenty of space for buyers to work from home.

“With its tree-lined streets, green spaces and historic architecture, Bottesford is an extremely desirable village to live in, as well as being the perfect location for buyers to work from home. This has been reflected in the high number of enquiries we have already received about The Vale. The development itself benefits from a superb semi-rural location with views of open countryside just a 15-minute walk from the centre of the village.

“We are expecting The Vale to be particularly popular with families and commuters. Bottesford offers the perfect village setting in which to bring up a family and boasts several good schools. It also has excellent transport links. The Vale offers easy access to the A52 and is just a 10-minute walk from Bottesford railway station, meaning Nottingham is just over half an hour away by car or train.

“I would encourage anyone interested in buying a home at The Vale to register their interest on our website to receive the latest updates ahead of next year’s launch.”
