Expansion for Fidler & Pepper into specialist legal work for housebuilders

Conveyancing specialists at Fidler & Pepper Lawyers have launched a new department, specifically to act for builders who are selling new properties on new homes developments.

The Commercial New Homes department will be led by Diane Price and Rachael Hillam, two highly specialist lawyers who have just joined the company.

As a newly-formed specialist department, Diane and Rachael will offer legal support for new-build property developers, landowners, individuals, self-build projects, and local authorities.

With more than60 combined years’ practising law, of which 25 years have been dedicated in this specialist field, the team will use their experience and knowledge to focus on land acquisition, infrastructure and funding agreements, development site set up and sales.

Mark Slade, CEO at Fidler & Pepper Lawyers, said: “We have built a nationwide reputation for being a leading conveyancing company acting for people buying and selling homes.

“In order to strategically grow our business, we are always looking for new opportunities to support our Conveyancing and Private Client legal services. Right now it makes perfect sense for us to develop a new, specialist department that strengthens what we already do.”

“We are really excited that both Diane and Rachael have joined our team and we are looking forward to the Commercial New Homes department helping Fidler & Pepper stand out from the crowd even further.”

Diane commented: “Fidler & Pepper already has a great reputation for conveyancing and we can build on this. Developers need information and data quickly and the unique technology that Fidler & Pepper has developed over the years for conveyancing can deliver that.”

Rachael added: “This is an exciting time to establish and develop a new department in a progressive, growing company that wants to be the best it can be for clients and for colleagues alike.”

The Commercial New Homes department is separate to the company’s New Homes Residential department, which purely acts for purchasers buying a new property on a new development. Together, both departments will complement each other in growing the Conveyancing area of Fidler & Pepper even further.
