Alpine Place named best residential development in London

The Alpine Place development from Signia Living has won the best residential category at the prestigious RICS  Awards for London 2016.

The RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) Awards, established to celebrate inspirational initiatives across the built environment, saw more than 200 delegates celebrate the capital’s most innovative projects this week.

Alpine Place in Queensbury, London NW9, comprises of 149 high specification two and three-bedroom apartments and duplexes made up of four complexes alongside eight commercial units and underground car parking.

The development, which is now fully sold, was designed with a focus on sustainability and has a number of eco-friendly features including electric car charging points and efficient natural ventilation as well as access for residents to the innovative Zipcar car sharing scheme.

Lynn Robinson, RICS Regional Director for South, East and West England, said: “The quality of entries received this year was truly outstanding and clearly demonstrates the fantastic work being carried out by property professionals.”

Alpine Place will now go forward alongside winners of all categories to take part in the RICS Awards Grand Final 2016 which will be held at Hilton Park Lane, London, on 14 October.
