Work starts on second phase in Wynyard

Bellway is set to start work on a second phase of new homes at Regency Manor, a development in Wynyard village.

The company is close to completing the 138 homes which make up the first phase of Regency Manor and it has purchased a second parcel of land, where a further 66 homes will be built.

Oliver Wray, Sales Manager for Bellway Durham, said: “We have sold 108 homes in the first phase and with just 30 remaining for sale, the time has come to look ahead to the next part of the development. We have completed the purchase of the next parcel of land and secured full planning consent for the development in November. Preparations are now underway and we will soon begin groundworks.”

Oliver said: “Part of our role as a responsible developer is to be a good neighbour. We have partnered with Wynyard Primary School on a host of events and initiatives and look forward to continuing that relationship as we commit to the future of Wynyard.”
