Jones Homes | Rufford
Jones Homes is set to complete work on a three-year project to bring 48 new homes to Rufford. Work on the former agricultural site began in 2016 and the final four homes are now available for sale. The development, which spans more than two hectares, also includes 14 two and three-bedroom affordable homes.

As work draws to a close in Rufford, Jones Homes has begun demolishing buildings at a site in Mawdesley where 56 new homes will be built. Find out more…

Wykeland Beal | Fruit Market, Hull
The first residents have moved into a major development in Hull’s regenerated Fruit Market waterfront district. The complete scheme comprises 93 mews-style homes around the four private courtyards, all with secure parking, together with the 12 one- and two-bedroom apartments. Properties within the four quarters are mostly townhouses, arranged over two and three storeys, with a blend of traditional and contemporary styles.

The homes are being built by Wykeland Beal, a joint venture company formed by commercial developer Wykeland Group and housebuilder Beal Homes. The two long-established local businesses are working in partnership with Hull City Council. Find out more…

Watson Homes | Salford
Salford-based contractor, Watson Homes, has commenced the second phase of construction work on an affordable housing scheme in the city. Located on a 7,040 sq. m. vacant site, previously owned by Salford Council, phase two of the Netherland Street development is being delivered for registered provider, Great Places Housing Group, by developer, Mangrove Estates Limited.

Phase two, which received planning permission in March 2019, will see the construction of a further 43 homes for affordable and social rent, including 14 cottage flats and 29 two and three-bedroom houses. The development is expected to be fully completed in summer 2020, bringing the total number of homes on the site to 67. Find out more…

 

Bellway | The Hall, Edwalton
A new housing development being built by Bellway Homes on the site of an old farmhouse in Edwalton is set to open its doors to visitors. Bellway is building a range of three-, four- and five-bedroom homes – called The Hall – on land off Melton Road, Edwalton.

The company has announced that with work progressing well on site, the first plots are due to be released for sale in April, when the development opens to the public. The development was granted planning permission by Rushcliffe Borough Council last year and work will involve converting two existing barns into homes. Find out more…

Truelove Property | The Dalderbys, Nettleham
Work has started on The Dalderbys, a new housing development in Nettleham named after a former Bishop of Lincoln. Construction firm Truelove Property & Construction will build 68 new three-, four- and five-bedroom homes off Scothern Road in Nettleham.

Daniel Charles Construction Ltd has begun work on the access road, which will take six months to complete. The show home on site is expected to open to the public in spring 2020.

Sophie Barrett, Sales Manager at Truelove Property & Construction said: “Our new homes will be built to a very high spec and finished in the classic, distinct and bespoke Truelove way. There will be a mix of houses and bungalows and we expect the whole development to be highly sought after thanks to its location and to the quality of the build.” Find out more…

Macbryde Homes | Oakley Park
A new £8m development of 67 new affordable family homes in Ellesmere Port has been completed ahead of schedule. Housing association Plus Dane and developers Macbryde Homes worked in partnership to build Oakley Park, a mix of two- and three-bedroom homes.

The 12-acre development, on the outskirts of Ellesmere Port town centre, includes 67 Plus Dane properties offering housing solutions including affordable rent, Rent to Buy, and shared ownership. Some of the homes are also available through the government-backed Help to Buy incentive. All other properties in the development are available for outright sale through Macbryde Homes.
