Duchy Homes | North Cave

Planning permission has been granted and works have commenced on Phase 1 of a new development of 36 high-quality homes in the East Yorkshire village of North Cave.

Duchy Homes will provide a mix of three-, four- and five-bedroom designs, with many of the plots on the development, named Cricketers’ Walk, benefiting from views across playing fields and the North Yorkshire Wolds. Find out more…

CHP | Cherry Garden, Chelmsford

Essex housing association, CHP, has announced that it has started building 10 new affordable homes in the village of Great Waltham, in partnership with Chelmsford City Council.

Nick Eveleigh, Chelmsford City Council Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted that this site is now being developed for affordable housing. This is yet another example of the City Council working in partnership with CHP for the benefit of our residents.”

The properties – a mix of two- and three-bedroom houses, and one-bedroom bungalows – are all for affordable rent. Working with DCH Construction and employer’s agent, Oxbury & Co, the Cherry Garden development is due to be completed by March 2020. Find out more…

Macbryde Homes | Dyserth

Macbryde Homes has confirmed that its plans to bring 61 new homes to Dyserth have been approved by Denbighshire County Council.

The Magor-based housebuilder has confirmed that work on site will commence early this coming summer. The homes will be comprised of a mix of two- and three-bedroom semi-detached homes and three and four-bedroom detached dwellings.

Macbryde’s announcement on its Dyserth plans comes soon after its acquisition of another site in Rhuddlan where it has submitted a reserved matters planning application for 99 new homes.

All properties at the Dyserth development will be two storeys high with parking for between two and four, depending on the size of the property. Find out more…

Fernham HomesFernham Homes | Pearsall Place

The final phase of new homes at its Pearsall Place development in Borough Green, Kent has been released by Fernham Homes. Pearsall Place consists of two-, three- & five-bedroom homes.

The homes, which feature Wealden-style architecture, along with high quality specifications, include special touches like underfloor heating on selected homes, Quartz stone worktops and integrated appliances. Find out more…

David Wilson Homes | Letcombe Gardens, Grove

David Wilson Homes has opened the doors to brand new show homes at its Grove development Letcombe Gardens. The development boasts a broad collection of one- to five-bedroom homes.

Caddick Construction | Hudson Quarter, York

Palace Capital has appointed Caddick Construction as main contractor for the £35 million construction of luxury mixed-use development Hudson Quarter in York City Centre.

The two-acre development on the site of the former Hudson House, opposite York Railway station, will be transformed into a new community featuring 127 apartments, office space, other commercial uses and car parking. The whole development due for completion in 2021.

The demolition of the former Hudson House building was completed towards the end of last year and sales on the luxury apartments will be launched later this year.
