Springbourne Homes | Hornsey Rise, Market Bosworth
Midlands developer Springbourne Homes has received full planning permission for a new site near Market Bosworth in Leicestershire. Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council has given the Warwickshire-based firm the green light to build 19 new homes on a 10 acre plot at Bosworth Road, Wellsborough, near Market Bosworth. Construction work on the Hornsey Rise project has already begun with a range of three-, four- and five-bedroom homes due to go on sale in the New Year.

Warm Beautiful Homes | Brinsford Farmhouse, Staffordshire
A £1m transformation project in Staffordshire has helped David Hill and Chris Maund launch property development company Warm Beautiful Homes. The company is looking to achieve ‘continuity in the countryside’ by saving traditional sites and transforming them into homes that combine style with modern-day comfort.

The duo have now completed their first project, taking Brinsford Farmhouse from auction and creating a three-storey, five-bed family property. David Hill, Owner of Warm Beautiful Homes said: “It has taken six months to complete, but it has definitely been worth it. We feel we have put a marker in the sand for what we can do, and delivered Wolverhampton and South Staffordshire a rare £1m home that will be very much in demand.”

Brinsford Farmhouse has undergone a complete strip-out to accentuate the high ceilings, wooden beams, traditional fireplaces, double-glazed sliding slash windows and double cornice detailing. Find out more…

Barratt Homes to build 310 new homes in Beeston (site shown in green)

Barratt Homes North Midlands | Beeston
Nottingham-headquartered Barratt Homes North Midlands will build 310 new homes at a development in Beeston, near Nottingham, after purchasing 20 acres of land for redevelopment. Located off Technology Drive, in Beeston, the brownfield site will comprise a collection of two-bedroom apartments and two-, three-, four- and six-bedroom homes.

Planning permission for the homes was granted by Broxtowe Borough Council last year. Barratt Homes has already started work on the development and its sales centre on the site is expected to be open by February 2020.

Barratt Homes North Midlands Managing Director, Chris Southgate, said: “We’re thrilled to have started work at our upcoming Beeston development and we’ll soon be providing a range of new homes for prospective buyers in Nottinghamshire.” Find out more…

 

StonewaterStonewater | Kidderminster
Stonewater is to deliver 45 homes on a former sports ground site in Kidderminster, together with contractor Living Space. The site, which has not been used for more than 20 years, will bring 45 affordable homes to the town.

The new homes will be available in a range of sizes including one-bedroom maisonettes and three-bedroom houses. 27 of the brand-new homes will be available for affordable rent, with the remaining 18 homes available to buy through Stonewater’s shared ownership scheme.

The new homes will be constructed using two complementary types of red brick and will be surrounded by public open space and a newly created ecological area. Find out more…

RedrowRedrow | Monchelsea Park, Maidstone
Redrow’s South East division has acquired a 26-acre parcel of land in the south east of Maidstone. With a GDV in excess of £100 million, the housebuilder is seeking to deliver up to 302 homes. The land at Bicknor Farm will be transformed into Monchelsea Park, a collection of one- and two-bedroom apartments and two-, three- and four-bedroom houses, with 30% of the homes provided being affordable.

The houses will be from Redrow’s Heritage Collection, which takes inspiration from 1930s Arts & Craft movement – blending traditional exteriors with bright modern interiors. This latest deal expands Redrow’s presence in Kent, with the company currently selling homes at 13 active communities across the county. Find out more…
