Bellway

Bellway | Farriers Court, Towcester
Construction work is well underway at Farriers Court in Towcester, where Bellway is building 90 new homes. The development will feature a range of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom properties, off Burcote Road. As part of the planning agreement for the development, Bellway is set to invest more than £800,000 in the local area, including more than £460,000 in primary and secondary education and £240,000 in sports and recreation.

Other contributions will be made to town centre management and improvement, public transport, the fire service, kerbside recycling and public art.

MacbrydeMacbryde Homes | Llys Gwynant in Bryn Y Baal, Mold
Macbryde Homes has started work on a on a new housing development on Llys Gwynant in Bryn Y Baal, Mold. The development, to be marketed under the name Plas Issa, will be comprised of 59 homes that include a mix of two- and three-bedroom townhouses and three- and four-bedroom detached homes.

Gwyn Jones, Managing Director at Macbryde Homes, commented: “The mix of homes that we’re now building at our site in Bryn Y Baal will make a significant contribution towards delivering much-needed quality homes in the area.  Indeed, we’ve already received in excess of one hundred enquiries and anticipate this rapidly increasing now that work has started on site.”

The first show home will be ready to welcome visitors in Spring 2020, but sales will launch ahead of that in September 2019. Find out more…

The Rattray Project Group

Kingdom HA | Rattray, Perthshire
Kingdom Housing Association has unveiled a new development of 26 houses in, the first phase of a £7.1 million 50-unit project on the outskirts of Rattray in Perthshire. The new homes are Kingdom’s first project in the Blairgowrie area and are part of a larger private development being built by Springfield Homes. More than a third of the energy-efficient properties at the site at Glenalmond Road, Rattray are amenity homes suitable for older people or tenants with particular housing needs.

The council’s housing and communities convener, Councillor Peter Barrett, said: “It’s terrific to see the delivery of these new high-quality homes for social rent in an area where they will make a real difference to the local community. It’s especially pleasing that the development contains a high number of amenity homes for people with specific housing needs that will support tenants to live independently in their homes for longer.” Find out more…

 

Ashberry Homes / Bellway | New Cardington
Two new housing developments being delivered on the former RAF Cardington site will bring a selection of new homes to Bedfordshire. A total of 250 new homes are being built in New Cardington, near Bedford, in a joint scheme by Ashberry Eastern Counties and Bellway Northern Home Counties. The first homes are taking shape at Bellway’s Eastcotts Green, while work has just begun on the new properties at Ashberry’s Sycamore Avenue.

Ben Smith, Regional Director for Ashberry Homes Eastern Counties, said: “There is a growing demand for new homes in New Cardington and we are really pleased to be helping to meet this need, while also making significant investment in the local area.

Investar PropertyInvestar Property Group | Melody Gardens
Manchester-based property developer, Investar Property Group, has marked a key milestone on its £6million affordable housing scheme in Salford with the handover of 10 new homes. Salford-based contractor, Watson Homes, is carrying out construction work on the scheme, which comprises nine three- and four-bedroom two-storey houses, one two-bedroom bungalow and 48 apartments.

Work began on Melody Gardens – an affordable housing development of 58 homes for Places for People – in August 2018. All 58 homes will be allocated by Places for People via the Local Authorities Choice Based Lettings system to residents who are in housing need. Find out more…

Jones Homes | Hillside Green, Harthill
Construction is underway on 24 new homes in the village of Harthill where Jones Homes Yorkshire is building its Hillside Green development. The development will include a selection of four- and five-bedroom properties, alongside six two- and three-bedroom homes designated as affordable housing.

David Ruffley, Regional Director for Jones Homes Yorkshire, said: “We are pleased to have started work in Harthill and are looking forward to releasing these homes for sale this autumn. We know this development will provide much-needed private and affordable housing in the area.”

The first homes are due to be released for sale in September, with the first completions scheduled for March next year. Find out more…
