Davidsons at Houlton, located on the former Rugby Radio Station site, received an average rating of 4.34 stars from residents who posted reviews on the website between February 2019 and June 2021.
The score was the highest average rating achieved in the Build to sell housing development category, with 93 per cent of reviewers rating the site as either ‘Excellent’ (5 stars) or ‘Very Good’ (4 stars).
HomeViews, dubbed the TripAdvisor for property, is a platform which invites tenants and homeowners to write honest reviews about residential developments.
A site’s overall score is calculated via reviewers’ average ratings of various categories including facilities, design, location, value and management.
The table of top 10 developments, which was compiled for HomeViews’ Houses v Apartments report published in July, is made up of sites which have received at least 20 verified reviews and consist mainly of houses.
Since beginning work in 2016, Davidsons Homes has built more than 200 houses across three developments in Houlton – comprising Dollman Meadow, Houlton View and Davidsons at Houlton.
Rory Cramer, CEO and Founder of HomeViews, said: “Our congratulations to Davidsons Homes at Houlton for being the highest-rated housing development on HomeViews, according to our verified resident reviews.
“Residents clearly love the convenient location combined with easy access to areas of wildlife, as well as the great customer service provided.”
Simon Tyler, Sales Director for Davidsons Homes South Midlands, said: “Receiving this top rating on HomeViews reflects the high-quality design of Davidsons at Houlton, where each property is individually crafted to our exacting standards.
“HomeViews provides live, current data in which real residents share their honest opinions, so to achieve the best ranking for housing developments in the country is a real testament to the high standards we have been able to deliver for our customers.
“Forming part of the upcoming new village of Houlton, the development sits within a wider scheme being led by Urban&Civic and Aviva Investors, which will eventually comprise around 6,200 homes. Already on site is an award-winning eatery, a community centre, an adventure playground and a primary and secondary school.”
