Bespoke ceramic tile service

British Ceramic Tile has demonstrated its bespoke service by designing a completely new tile for use at a development in London.

British Ceramic Tile has gone the extra mile with its latest development project for Countryside Properties, creating a bespoke new wall tile range for the Brook Valley Gardens development.

A new residential development, which forms part of a major regeneration project for the Dollis Valley housing estate, Brook Valley Gardens offers a range of contemporary new homes and apartments alongside green open spaces and communal facilities for residents in the area.

Bespoke solution
With the project requiring a quick turnaround, the interior design team at Countryside and C&A Contracts chose to utilise British Ceramic Tile’s bespoke service, creating a new wall tile that matched the brief for the bathrooms and en-suites at Brook Valley.

With their mind set upon the mocha multiuse 98 by 598mm porcelain tile from the Shift collection, Countryside asked British Ceramic Tile to create a bespoke ceramic wall tile that would match the floor with a hardwearing, design-led solution.

The team at British Ceramic Tile created Countryside Greige, a multiuse 298 by 598mm ceramic wall tile made using the latest high definition printing technology. Taking inspiration from a porcelain design, the in-house production team captured the same design aesthetics, delivering a stylish new ceramic tile that answered the needs of the client in just two weeks.

Liam Poole, Head of Specification Marketing at British Ceramic Tile, said: “It’s our ability to instantly react and respond to the needs of our client that makes us an ideal partner. Being a UK manufacturer with an in-house design team, we can create new ranges from scratch, ensuring a high quality product thanks to our cutting edge technology and production techniques. No matter the size of the project, we’ll find a solution to suit the client brief, whether existing or a bespoke design. If you can imagine it, we can make it.”

Chris Lipman, Director for C&A Contracts, added: “Having had the pleasure to work for Countryside Properties on a number of projects, all of our fixers at C&A Contracts now have great experience working with these tiles. They are fantastic to install and cut perfectly, while giving a clean, modern finish.

“The project sites have been very well run and an absolute dream to have been involved with. We look forward to continuing to build our ever growing relationships with both British Ceramic Tile and Countryside Properties over the coming years.”
