NHBC Chief Executive to step down

Chief Executive of the NHBC, Mike Quinton, will be leaving at the end of January 2017.

Following over four years as Chief Executive, Mike Quinton will be leaving NHBC at the end of January 2017.

From 1st February the current Chairman, Isabel Hudson, will become Executive Chairman and Neil Jefferson, Business Development Director, will step up as Managing Director until a permanent successor has been appointed.

Following the announcement, Mike said, “After four years, I’m pleased to leave NHBC in a strong position and well equipped to face the challenges ahead. I leave behind an organisation making a vital contribution to the UK housing sector. NHBC is valued, trusted and relied upon by housebuilders and homeowners and I am sure the organisation will continue to flourish in the years ahead. I wish the management team and all staff the very best for the future.”

Isabel Hudson said, “Much has changed at NHBC during the four years that Mike has been Chief Executive and the Board is grateful to him for the significant developments which have taken place under his leadership. We would like to take this opportunity to wish him well for the future.”
