Cala Homes new showhome focuses on interiors and landscaping

Interiors and landscaped gardens show homes’ potential at Witney’s Spring Meadow.

Cala Homes’ ‘Spring Meadows’ is a collection of three and four bedroom homes in Witney. Recently launched a the development is a new show home which demonstrates how interiors and gardens can help transform a new build property into a luxurious home.

Interiors for the four bedroom show home were designed and dressed by Claude Hooper Interior Designers. Vicki Hadley who managed the project has worked for the company for nine years commented, “I spent a good deal of time researching the area to understand who the potential buyers would be before coming up with the design. My brief was crisp contemporary smart living for families and I focused on selecting  interiors that buyers could see themselves living in as well as being able to buy on the High Street.

“I took inspiration from ‘Grey being the new Black’  and teamed this with complementary colours of Blue Denim and accents of copper and rust.  I particularly enjoyed working on the children’s room which was designed around a fox theme.”

The gardens have been landscaped by Carl Maddocks of T.C. Landscapes. Carl is the operations manager for the company specializing in bespoke garden designs for show homes. The focus for his design was to provide an outdoor lounge area that the eye would be drawn to from within the house. A striking red sail provides a shaded area from the sun and the parasol trees which were imported from Italy gives a Tuscan feel to the garden.

Karen Mole of Savills who is marketing the scheme added, “The show home is beautifully designed, has a lovely warm feeling and is impressive but also somewhere practical for family life. The garden is a work of art with stunning tree sculptures and ideal for entertaining.”

The show home has just been released to the market for sale at a price of £625,000.
