Roseberry Park promises luxury new housing in Hessle

Duchy Homes bolsters growth plans in the Yorkshire Region with its latest acquisition of former Bridgeview School on Ferriby Road in Hessle.

Situated at the start of the Yorkshire Wolds Way, the 1.32 hectares of land will be redeveloped to include a new area of public open space with 20 luxury new homes for sale and six affordable bungalows. The development retains the existing hedgerow, verge and tree line frontage, which is a key characteristic of the neighbourhood.

The site was acquired from East Riding of Yorkshire Council at tender. The planning application involved full consultation and negotiation with neighbours and other interested parties in order to arrive at a layout that satisfied all and was supported unanimously at Planning Committee. Duchy Homes’ specification includes designer kitchens, granite work surfaces, walk-in wardrobes and bi- fold doors.

Roseberry Park is located in a highly sustainable location with great accessibility credentials. Existing bus stops are provided on Ferriby Road allowing quick and easy access into Hull City Centre. A bicycle-friendly route from nearby Hessle Square connects the area with both Hull City Centre and the Humber Bridge. Demolition of the school is now underway with foundations for the new homes commencing late summer. Sales are anticipated to open early 2019.
